Hmm... looks like it's been a while since i've posted... Well I'm continuing to help out at the clinic and I see how much fatigue is accumulated in only a few hours of work. I got some prayer requests for my mom for strength to endure until I am able to support the family. My dad's going with the hormone therapy and naturopathic intervention and prevention from my mom and information from a lot of his friends. Overall, both are doing well but probably very fatigued though they don't show much of it (especially my dad -.-). Thanks for continued prayers guys!
Soo... I've been workin on my plan for the summer... still waiting for news about a summer job. If nothing comes up I may need to go back to working @ Vector ><". As for working out... it's going well. MMA classes are hardcore... blisters constantly coming back... ugh... never actually gone 100% till this class... conditioning.. muay thai... grappling + jujutsu... more conditioning... and stretching... sums up a 2 hour class. Although, I must say, I'm having a LOT of fun in the process. Picking up people, tossing them around... ahh good timez =)
Today, there was a great message at church. Dr. Beverley who's got a lot of experience with apologetics, christian ethics, etc. and he shared about the Islam religion as well as things about Christianity that I had questions about. The key point that I was interested in was definite salvation. I had thought on this topic a lot.. whether or not salvation can be lost or if it is always with you once you become a believer. According to Dr. Beverley, it is definite, a verse says that we cannot be taken away from God's love. This gives me a great deal of assurance. During worship we sang "Mighty to Save" and "Shine". It was awesome cuz those were key songs during the Passion Conference I went to before reading week. It's cool how God reminds you in the simplest ways.
REALLY looking forward to the events lined up during the summer. From going paintballing.. which I'm still waiting for replies... a trip to the beach...birthdays... whenever I can chill with people... and maybe a road trip? Yeah... well first thing's first... job... grrrr...
till my next update...
